One pairing can be settled first
A part can earn Fits when its exact relationship with the selected rifle or receiver has qualifying first-party evidence and independent review. Other parts on the same build may still be Not verified, require fitting, or conflict.
PlinkBench keeps the positive pairing visible because it is useful evidence. It also keeps the larger build conservative because that single answer cannot speak for relationships that were never evaluated.
Complete describes the list
Complete means every required line in the build model has a selection or is documented as included with the selected rifle or receiver. It describes coverage of the list, not confidence in every relationship.
A build can therefore be Complete and still Not verified. That is not a contradiction: one label describes whether the list is filled, while the other describes whether the selected relationships have passed review.
Verified describes the whole decision
Verified is reserved for a complete build whose required selected relationships satisfy the product's review policy. Open interfaces, missing pair evidence, contradictions, or an unresolved required line keep the whole build from receiving that label.
The whole-build decision also has its own recorded review. Pair-level Fits answers are necessary inputs, but they do not promote the build automatically.
- Fits: one reviewed product-to-rifle or product-to-receiver pairing.
- Complete: every required build line is accounted for.
- Verified: the complete selected build passes the whole-build evidence gate.
- In research: the larger decision still has named open work.
How to read the bench
Start with the status beside each selected part, then read the whole-build label separately. Open the evidence view when a pairing is Not verified or carries a condition. The bench is designed to show where confidence stops, not to hide unfinished research behind a total or a completed list.
